How many pets can be covered on one policy? We are able to insure any combination of domestic cats and dogs on one policy up to a maximum of 10 pets. However, our website will restrict the number allowed online to four. This is because there are a number of additional questions that we need to ask to ensure the policy meets your client's requirements and to establish whether there is any additional risk which would not be covered under the policy, such as commercial gain or using a pet for breeding purposes.
Can a pet be insured if it suffers from a pre-existing condition? As with most pet insurance policies, the policy does not cover any pre-existing conditions or any claims for any conditions, symptoms or events that happen prior to the start date of the policy or the addition of a pet to the policy. Neither does it cover any claims as a result of illness within the first 14 days of the start of the policy or the addition of a pet to a policy.
What is not covered under the Confidas Pet policy? Certain things are not covered by your client's pet insurance policy. These include any claims for any illness or disease during the first 14 days of the policy or the pet being added to the policy or any condition that is present before.
