Wednesday 24 June 2015: Today Smith Greenfield, leading independent High Net Worth insurance specialists and wholesaler of Mid and High Net Worth insurance products, launches Confidas, a new insurance brand only available through advisers.

Launching with competitively priced, market leading portfolio products - covering homes, buy to let properties, UK holiday homes, travel, motor vehicle and pet insurance - and new technology, Confidas will enable advisers to compete more effectively for MNW and HNW business.

Built into the new insurance platform is a facility that allows advisers to quote and buy a MNW portfolio product 24/7. Central to the system is an automatic referral facility to specialists at Confidas for clients with more bespoke HNW insurance requirements. With Confidas committing to provide the majority of HNW quotes within 4 working hours*, the time and process from quote to buy for HNW policies is significantly reduced. This, in turn, supports advisers in winning business and achieving even higher customer service levels.

With more than 19 years’ experience working in the HNW insurance sector, Smith Greenfield recognised the opportunity to develop a market leading solution to enable advisers to compete more successfully on service, product and cost in HNW, and to maximise opportunities presented by the growing MNW sector.

With this intelligence, reinforced by the results of a survey carried out amongst Smith Greenfield’s registered brokers in March 2014 (see Notes to Editors), Smith Greenfield worked with industry leading partners U K Insurance, DST Systems, QuestGates and Barrett Corp Harrington to create Confidas (see Notes to Editors).
